Situated between Dover and Canterbury in the quiet rural setting of Shepherdswell, the village is within easy access of the A2. It is also served well by public transport being situated on the main London to Dover rail line and having a regular bus service between Dover ad Canterbury. The village post office and convenience store are within a comfortable walking distance of the home.

Brambling House is able to provide care for 20 older residents who may or may not have dementia. Several of the 18 bedrooms have en-suite facilities and there are 2 double bedrooms suitable for couples or friends. The accommodation is on 2 floors and is serviced by a stairway and a shaft lift. The home has an impressive large conservatory, dining room and small quiet lounge for residents to use as they desire. There is also a large attractive garden for the residents to enjoy with a car park for the use of visitors to the home.
