Acacia House is a beautiful nursing home with a homely, family atmosphere. We provide care and accommodation for up to 41 people who require 24 hour nursing care. There are Registered Nurses on duty at all times supported by a dedicated and well-trained team of carers.
The majority of our rooms offer en-suite facilities and we have 3 twin rooms for couples or friends who wish to share. All rooms are fully furnished, but residents are welcome to bring their own furniture and belongings. Many of our rooms have views over the attractive grounds that surround Acacia House including a pond, lawns and many flower beds. Residents have acces to the secure grounds of Acacia House, as they desire.
We have a wide rage of activities and entertainemnt available every day, organised by our qualified activities co-ordinator, for all our residents to enjoy. Our chef cooks a delicious choice of food every day, catering for all tastes.
Acacia House is situated in the picturesque Kentish village of St Michaels on the A28. Regular bus routes pass close by and all the expected amenities including post office, shops, church and recreation grounds are near to hand.
St Michaels is just a short distance from the famous Cinque Port town of Tenterden which is dominated by the tower of the 12th century church, St Mildred's. It has a broad tree-lined High Street offering a selection of shops and restaurants. The nearby Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway is an extremely popular day trip with our residents.

The home has a large lounge opening up into a bright, spacious conservatory overlooking the large attractive garden. There is also a comfortable dining room and 2 quiet lounges for residents and their visitors to use if they wish.
We have a dedicated activities co-ordinator who arranges a wide variety of daily activities and entertainment to suit all tastes. Our residents are encouraged to maintain their hobbies and interests and to find new ones. Our cook serves up a delicious menu of home-cooked food with daily choices for everyone.

There is a dining room in which residents can enjoy home cooked meals prepared by our qualified chef; alternatively residents may choose to eat in the "sunshine gallery" overlooking the garden. For relaxation, there are 4 lounges, including one large area with a stunning fish tank as well as 2 further small lounges for those wantig some peace and quiet, to watch a DVD or listen to music. Additionally there is a library on the first floor for those residents who like to read.
